I’ve always liked this place. I visited recently after a long hiatus, and was still pleased. I bought the jerk ribs dinner. The ribs were seasoned well and veryyy tender. The rice was good, but just a hint too salty. The mango lemonade was yummmmmy. Jamaican restaurants are expensive overall, but at least the food was good. The staff was very polite and patient while we decided on what we wanted to eat.
As a first time customer the first thing I noticed when I arrived, it was pretty busy for 2 pm on a Wednesday. I ordered one of the lunch specials and wow was Ovation’s food exactly what I was hoping for. It was delicious and flavorful. Now I’m tempted to try their desserts!
Been looking for a good Caribbean spot for a while and finally found one. Everyone was friendly and the food portions were very generous. We ordered the Jerk Ribs….yes you read that right. JERK RIBS!! They were absolutely delicious! Everything was on point. Never had authentic Caribbean cuisine before but this was the perfect experience for a first timer. Along with the ribs you get rice and peas with your choice of gravy, cabbage and plantains. We also ordered bread pudding and black cake. Everything was *chefs kiss*.
Please don’t go here they spit in peoples food yesterday I got a plate of salmon rice and peas, I started feeling sick immediately after the first few bites. I had a feeling she did something to my food anyways now I feel sick. I want to drop the plate back off and get my money back. Very unprofessional didn’t even give me a receipt and won’t give me a refund I will be visiting the ER for the symptoms I am feeling. I started feeling sick right after the first couple of bites the women in there are rude.
My first visit of many! Super cute spot. Very kind staff. Efficient and attentive! The food???? Ahmazing! Sorry I took my pic after already digging in (oxtails, rice n peas, cabbage). Priced perfectly, portions are LARGE! Definitely recommend 👌🏾
