We’re here visiting from Louisiana with our daughter & was passing on the highway & saw this little restaurant so we decided to stop in . When we initially walked in there was 1 person waiting apparently a door dash driver . The staff wasn’t very welcoming , it was sent busy at all inside the restaurant . We walked up to order & my daughter & I ordered fish taco combo & my husband ordered the salmon bowl . I checked our receipt after waiting & we had been waiting for 31 minutes , so my husband goes up to ask the status of your order & the girl says “it’s coming they bagging it up now” It was a show while we were waiting - we witnessed 3 separate people come in to pick up door dash order & 1 they had given the food to someone else , 1 the lady had been waiting over 20 minutes - but the staff didn’t seem to have a care in the world about anyone waiting . 1 girl just stood there on her phone . My husband really enjoyed the salmon bowl BUT it was just very small portion size . The tacos had some coleslaw & a type of sauce that was horrible - the coleslaw was so watery - the sauce was tangy & the tortillas were ice cold - I asked the young lady at the counter if the tortillas were supposed to be cold ? She immediately said Yes , that’s how they are . 🤦🏽♀️ we scraped the coleslaw off the cold tortilla & ate literally the fish on the cold tortilla . It just wasn’t good at all . & for the staff to feel like our concerns just weren’t important I wouldn’t recommend this place . The parking is pretty tough & minimal . The inside has a nice little set up with seating & tv’s
Nice place for a tasty fish, shrimp or chicken lunch. Nice dining area and service. We “ate in” and unfortunately, eat out of styrofoam. Prices seemed reasonable for $8-$13 with $2.20 drinks. I had a delicious sweet and spicy Shrimp bowl that was a little on the small side. My wife had 3 pieces of chick that were lightly battered and nicely cooked. They also have some adult beverages available. Parking could be challenging as well a finding the place (we missed the turnoff).
Found this place after looking on gmaps, and I'm glad this one had good reviews. The food here was great. I'll be keeping this on my list to take home again. They offered all their fish choices as a grilled option, which I really appreciated. You can get the classic fried fish meals, but a grilled option is what I like. And this was not a random option as the fish was seasoned well. Their salmon and even whiting was done well. I enjoyed the fries also. Overall, I'll enjoyed this place. Not a place I'd like to sit in and eat, but they have plenty of seating. But they're great for takeout. Give em a try. They're a worthy option in the area
This was my first time here, and I will definitely be going back. Friendly customer service! The food was great! Wish I had more pics, but I ate it so fast. I had the garlic parmesean fish tacos...sooo GOOD!
Great place for fried fish!!! The catfish was huge. Perfectly battered. Definitely get the lemon pepper catfish. Their special sauce is similar McDonald’s sweet and sour. Shrimp were also a great size! Wings are not bad.
