Im sorry but not sorry. i ordered here because of all the great reviews but that red beans and rice tasted like dirt and grit as if the beans were not cooked or rinsed properly and the gumbo was real loose and peppery and contained more broth than chicken, sausage, okra or shrimp. After consuming i immediately felt sick and regurgitated all the small bites i took. Please take caution when ordering from here.

We ordered the sampler platter from Louisiana Shack and were enjoying a picnic at the park when my wife found a long brownish-black hair in our food under the fries and surprisingly in the coleslaw. Despite taking pictures, none of us have long hair. When I called the cashier, she recognized me and apologized, but was unsure about their policy. After consulting the manager, he insisted we bring the food back, but I explained I'm currently in Buford and won't return until tomorrow night. He was unhelpful and refused to accept a picture. It's disappointing to receive such treatment, especially since I'm a frequent customer. Even the cashier acknowledged the manager's rudeness and mentioned they don't wear hair nets. After further investigation, I see the health department report gave them a 76. I will not be a returning customer nor will I recommend them to anyone else anymore!
The food was pretty good, no complaints.
Dine in or take out. Known for their seafood. Delivery services will have to go inside to pickup. Plenty of parking. Good customer.
