Had the jerk chicken dinner. It came with rice, plantains, and greens. All of the food was tasty. The food carried my rating to a 5. The music is too loud to hear the server even when 2-3 feet away. It needs to turned down. This is a restaurant, not a dance hall. Is the music for your customers or staff? Also, the fonts on your menu need to be 2x or more larger. I have great eyesight and could not read your menu. Do you want sales? I almost left in confusion.
Food was was all right. The curry goat was the best dish we got the goat meat was a little fatty and also the ladies at the drive-through were a little rude, but it’s expected with the Jamaican restaurant.
I placed the order through DoorDash for oxtails. When the order arrive, it was still hot. Those oxtails were so good. I hope they continue the quality and the freshness of the food and I will continue to support them.
I was excited to eat at Golden Krust because I'd never eaten there before. My daughter and I ordered the oxtail plates. We made it all the way home, I opened my tray and there was a LONG STRAND OF HAIR mixed in with my rice!!!! I could not believe my eyes!!! We IMMEDIATELY took it back. The guy at the counter said he was not refunding our money back ($59) because it was my daughters hair!!! Like..WHAT!!!???!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!??!!! My daughter's hair was in a donut!!!!! The hair in my food was clearly a very long piece of weave!!!! Then he said he was only gonna refund us for ONE order!!! So, my daughter said no, you're gonna refund us for BOTH ORDERS!!! She didn't want her food after I found hair in mine and rightfully so!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN!!! So, to anyone who goes there, PLEASE inspect your food THOROUGHLY!!!! UGHHHH!!!!! I was sooo disgusted and then to have the nerve to say it was my daughters hair and NOT want to refund us our money!!!!! An apology should have been given but it was not!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
I went there this morning and ordered livers from drive thru, the girl said that all they had available was an akee and saltfish and saltfish. I ordered the akee/saltfish, she then asked if I wanted boiled or fry food, I said boiled. She then said we only have banana and yam but no dumplin I said ok and I also ordered a side of plantain. When I home I literally almost threw up. The akee was swimming in water and literally one piece of saltfish. I got 3 slices of yam and on banana. The yam was raw as shit so I threw the entire meal in the trash. Never again. The plantain were also very hard as though I was reheated.
