Frida's is one of the best restaurants in GA. I was in town visiting from Chicago. My cousin that lives there was given Frida's as a recommendation for good drinks and food. Boy, were they right?!?! Gabriel was our chef, Estepania was our server, and Felix was the manager..... They were all so great, friendly, and professional. The pitcher of margaritas was ON POINT🙌🏾 We couldn't decide what we wanted at first, but Estephana helped us come up with the perfect combination for our taste buds. You've got to try the guacamole 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Gabriel had good recommendations for food, and we were over full when we left🤣 The atmosphere was a great vibe. The music was a really nice volume to the point where we didn't feel like we had to scream to hear each other across the table. It's a great vibe for girls night out or even date night. I'll definitely be back.
Let me tell y'all something. This place is a GEM! I am a VERY particular patron anywhere I go and this place surpassed my expectations. You can ALWAYS tell if the food gonna be good when the chips and salsa are fresh!! It was so good! The food was indeed so delicious and decently priced. The service was phenomenal! The manager made regular rounds checking and interacting with the customers. The employees had a great working flow with each other and very accommodating to everyone from what I can see. My server was so sweet and attentive. It was a really nice lunch break and if I'm ever in the area again I will be back!
I ordered the Birria Tacos, and they were extremely oily. The consommé was just as bad—mostly oil with a slight hint of spice but no real flavor. Unfortunately, Frida’s is not the place for birria tacos.
This was an extremely disappointing dining experience from start to finish. She didn’t communicate well, and couldn’t explain the food on the menu. Our server only showed up twice—once to take our order and once to drop off the bill. There were no check-ins to see how the food was, no drink refills, and no effort to provide basic hospitality. The drinks were watered down and barely drinkable. The chips and salsa basket was never refilled, and we had to ration what little we were given. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and unappetizing, as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for too long. The lack of attentiveness, poor food quality, and overall indifference from the staff made the entire meal unpleasant. With so many better restaurants in the area, I would not recommend wasting your time or money here. Terrible experience. Won’t be back. First and last time. Americans need to stay out of this place because they only serve their own with top-notch service. The server not only visited the table on the side of us numerous times to cater to their every need, but she also took pictures while we were treated like she was doing us a favor. I have held a food service certificate for the last 8 years, and it would be interesting to see what their scores were for the last 3 years.
Update: after getting home the steak was undercooked. Menu is hard to read online, isn’t updated so the prices aren’t the same in store. Also what Mexican restaurant doesn’t serve basic chicken nachos….
