First of all, the owner is super nice. The server today was rude and rushed. The food for dinner portions was lacking. When ordering, we asked to modify our entrees, and the server seemed disgusted. We had cheese dip that had a hair in it, and it was replaced with fresh cheese dip and a new basket of chips. We only had 3 in our party. When we received our bill, she had already added an 18% "service charge" to the total. We will not be going back.
Extremely fast customer service and great environment very authentic ( beautiful waitress) and a HUUUGEEEE BAR and music playing constantly !!! Food was pretty…different very thick salsa verde made in house yum!! But the most interesting thing is the birrea consome had rice in it … never in my 30 years of living in Mexico have I seen that before but it was very yummy and the taco was nice and crunchy but still taste so soft and cheesy and delicious…. Ask for Michael to take your order and you will get a free meal!
Been coming here since we moved into the area back in 1996. This family restaurant has been incredible every time we have visited. Yesterday we visited once again and are always greeted with smiles, hugs and handshakes. The beer is cold, tacos and chips hit the spot but the real winner is the sizzling fajitas. The serving size always makes me think, can I eat it all or do I take some home. Be sure to check out this long time standard on the Grayson Hwy in Lawrenceville.
I was afraid of trying a new Mexican restaurant, but Cuernavaca is my new favorite. The food is so tender and delicious and fresh 🤤 We just had our 5th visit, and I'm not going anywhere else. Warm chips, juicy chicken, tender beef, yum!
I should have realized earlier why there are no Mexican customers at a Mexican restaurant on a weekend night. Unless they replace the chef immediately, even the few remaining customers will end up leaving. Even if I just followed a YouTube recipe, it would taste better than that. However, the service was excellent.
