Coming in from out of town for a week with a big family and this became our “spot”. All the people are incredibly friendly and the food is delicious (more importantly, reasonably priced). You actually get enough to fill your stomach and it doesn’t break your budget. Kids & adults left happy and full. Shout out to Tia who felt like a friend each time we came in ❤️ highly recommend. 1st time finding this gem near our home. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day! We had breakfast and it was so delicious! Definitely will come back for lunch and dinner as they had lots of options I wanted to try! Our server Karen was also very sweet!
Oh my! The food is delicious! I got the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup. So flavorful and came out hot. And my husband got the chicken and wild rice soup. Amazing! (Sorry about the photo… I dove in and forgot to take a picture beforehand!). What a great find! They need to be in a more prominent location. And our server, Liv, was a delight! Wish I could give more stars!
Amazing little gem on Atlanta Hywy/ Gainesville Hywy just before the main intersection next to O'Reilly auto parts. Serves breakfast all day I had the biscuit with country fried steak home style potatoes and egg combo fantastic! The biscuit was cathead big golden crisp outside fluffy yet dense inside, the gravy was perfect not a gloopy salty mess you sometimes encounter when searching for a good breakfast , more like a milky creamy buttery silk with just the right amount of seasoning the egg was exactly medium as ordered with lacy bits of crisp on the edges cooked in butter potatoes spot on with peppers and onions.Beautiful decor with a smaller private dining area off the crafters corner in the back where you can find small custom pottery items tea towels and baubles. There is expresso bar / bar with draft beers in the front just off the vestibule entrance prices very reasonable for highest quality food that is as close to homemade as you can get
We had a great Sunday morning visit to The 5 Spot Cafe in Buford. Even though the restaurant was nearly full, we were seated right away. Our server, Trish, greeted us with a smile and took excellent care of us the entire time—attentive, friendly, and always on top of things. The food was just as impressive. The Cinnamon Pecan French Toast was perfectly crispy on the outside, loaded with cinnamon flavor, and absolutely delicious. The sausage patties were also a standout. I tried the Chili Omelette, which was hearty and filled with their house-made bison chili. It had a subtle sweetness, wasn’t overly spicy, and paired beautifully with the fluffy omelette. The potatoes with sautéed peppers and onions were full of flavor, and the crunch drop biscuit tied everything together. We left full, happy, and already planning our return. A fantastic spot for breakfast or brunch in Buford!
